Garret Frey

Hi Friends! My name is Garret and I am a quadriplegic and have been living with a spinal cord injury since a life-changing accident at the age of 4 in 1986. While my journey has come with significant challenges, I have learned to focus on what is possible rather than what has been lost. Through the unwavering support of my family, friends, caregivers, and community, I continue to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

My faith, determination, and positive outlook help guide me each day. I believe in making the most of every opportunity and never giving up, no matter the obstacles. My motto is simple: live each day to the fullest and as I often say, "keep on rollin'!"

I am fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible network of people who encourage and assist me. Their support allows me to pursue my interests, stay engaged with my community, and continue working toward personal goals. Whether it's advocating for disability awareness, sharing my story, or simply making a positive impact on those around me, I strive to make a difference one person at a time.

Some of my greatest joys in life include spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors and sunshine, traveling when possible, and staying connected through technology and community involvement. I am passionate about showing others that a spinal cord injury does not define a person or limit their ability to live a rich and meaningful life.

My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can inspire others to persevere through difficult circumstances, appreciate life's blessings, and recognize the strength that exists within all of us. Every day is a gift, and I am committed to making the most of each one.
