His speaking engagements have included Venice, FL; Shelby Public Library, Sarasota, FL; Main Public Library and Oak Park School, Sarasota, FL; Wartburg College (about building a successful future, empowerment, and the importance of volunteering), Waverly, IA; University of Northern Iowa (“Best Buddies”, informing students about diverse needs), Cedar Falls, IA; The University of Iowa, Counseling/Psychology and Education Departments, Iowa City, IA; St. Luke’s Hospital Caregivers’ Support Group, Cedar Rapids, IA; a group of Doctors and Respiratory Therapist, Marengo, IA; Methwick Community, Adult Independent & Assisted Living Facility, Cedar Rapids, IA; Milestones, Adult Day Health Center in Cedar Rapids, IA; as well as Churches and other groups in the Cedar Rapids area.
